City Parks Foundation’s Girls Forward program, in partnership with Nike, provides free, girls-only sports programming and leadership development opportunities for middle- and high-school–aged (13–16) youth across New York City parks. Girls Forward creates welcoming, supportive spaces where girls can build confidence, leadership skills, and a lifelong connection to sport, movement, and community engagement. As an extension of this work, the Girls Forward Leadership & Mentorship Cohort provides a select group of participants with additional opportunities for personal growth through leadership workshops, mentorship, community service, and career exploration connected to the world of sports and beyond. We are seeking a part-time Girls Forward Cohort Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Leadership & Mentorship Cohort. The Coordinator will work closely with the Girls Forward Program Manager to assist with organizing workshops, coordinating partner visits and guest speakers, supporting field trips and excursions, and ensuring the smooth operation of cohort sessions and special events. Programming takes place primarily in Queens, with occasional travel throughout New York City.
