About The Position

Trellis , a nonprofit in Minneapolis, MN , is looking to hire two full-time (40 hours/week) Grant Manager II . This position is responsible for supporting the planning, administration, compliance, and oversight of federal Title III grant-funded programs. This midlevel role ensures alignment with federal and state requirements and plays a key role in maintaining relationships with funded partners, building organizational policies and procedures to support compliant and efficient grant operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, public administration, social or human services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant or contract management, nonprofit operations, project management, compliance, policy development, or a related area.
  • Knowledge of federal and state grantmaking rules and regulations such as Uniform Guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience writing policies, procedures, or operational guidance.
  • Experience with a Request for Proposal process and review procedures. Other relevant procurement procedures may be considered to meet this qualification.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and web-based grant management and reporting systems.
  • Experience working with diverse, underserved, and rural populations
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering or managing federal, state, or foundation grant funds.
  • Experience with meeting grant reporting and data requirements, , as well as program management.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience organizing and presenting data or financial information, along with a solid understanding of nonprofit budgeting and the basics of fund accounting.
