The Oregon Business Development Department (dba Business Oregon) is excited to announce for a Human Resource Analyst 2 within our Human Resources Team. This position is offered as a job rotation or limited duration appointment, ending September 30, 2026, with possible extension based on funding and workload. The goal of this recruitment is to fill this position at the Human Resource Analyst 2 level. However, we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for the Human Resource Analyst 1 level to apply. Underfill applicants must meet higher level within 36 months from date of hire. We will also consider job rotation opportunities to fill this position. Note: This position is eligible to work remotely approximately four days a week. Recruitment : independently lead full‑cycle recruitments, including developing job announcements, posting advertisements, reviewing applications, and participating on interview panels while delivering excellent customer service to candidates. Outreach & Network: act as a champion for the agency at career fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities to support employer branding and recruitment efforts. Classification: conduct a position classification analysis by reviewing position duties, responsibilities, and distinguishing features to conduct accurate classification analyses and ensure proper allocation. Coaching: provide your guidance and expertise to employees, managers, and other HR analysts on topics including FMLA/OFLA, workers’ compensation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), classification and compensation, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and so much more!
