This position will be a part of the Human Resource team and will own projects in Compensation and Benefits, HR Shared Services and HR Technology, and gain exposure to HR Generalist accountabilities at a community. Compensation and Benefits – project centered on drafting updated Leave of Absence Policies and Procedures for a centralized LOA process. • This work will include reviewing and recommending current paid time off policies • Making recommendations for refreshed policies • Creating communication plans • Creating change management plans (approximately 5 weeks full-time) HR Shared Services and HR Technology – exposure to a broad view across all HR functional areas and some exposure to HR Technology. (approximately 5 weeks) HR Generalist – An opportunity to work at a Covenant Living community to take part in HR generalist accountabilities, which could include (approximately 2 weeks unless TR/HRIS wants more time): • New employee onboarding and orientation • Employee relations issues • HR compliance • Employee engagement This position will report to the VP of Total Rewards but will work closely with other HR Leaders. Skills that would be helpful or developed in this role: • Knowledge of Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Strong written and oral communication skills used in story telling • Strong time management and organizational skills • Critical thinking skills, along with good decision making and judgement • Ability to work independently and as part of team • Ability to maintain confidentiality Compensation Pay Range: $16.06 - $20.88 per hour Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.06 - $20.88 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
