About The Position

The Human Resources team at UMB works with internal partners and lines of business to facilitate an unparalleled associate experience. The Human Resource team is made up of many different groups to design this experience strategically and cohesively. These groups include: Compensation Human Resource Information Systems Internal Communication Benefits Talent Development Associate Relations Talent Acquisition Inclusion, Diversity & Associate Giving As the Human Resources Intern, you will be in a project-driven role. You will contribute to projects that further UMB’s initiatives with Inclusion, Diversity & Associate Giving, as well as elevating employer branding to foster communication and engagement with internal employees and external community members alike.

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a higher education program as at least a Junior OR are actively pursuing a career in HR through other methods
• You are interested in utilizing your creativity to help create content
• You are willing to establish relationships to learn about how UMB’s culture affects the employee’s experience

Responsibilities

• Meeting with various UMB leaders and associates to gather content about personnel and the business for external content communication
• Partnering with UMB’s Marketing and Social Media team for content creation
• Collaborating on reporting and data analytics
• Sharing your career interests and pursuing projects that further your goals
• Researching industry best practices and making recommendations
• Supporting the execution of projects that impact UMB’s associate population
