About The Position

Ever wondered how HR actually works behind the scenes? Curious about AI, automation, and how people processes get built (and rebuilt) during big system changes?   We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and people-first HR Intern to join our People Services team for Summer 2026. This role is perfect for a student who wants hands-on HR experience, real ownership of projects, and exposure to how modern HR teams operate during times of transformation. You’ll work closely with HR professionals across Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, HR Systems, and Analytics—supporting day-to-day operations and helping us build smarter, more scalable ways of working.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled full time in a college or university earning a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork and project management skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team on a project to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AI and Automation strongly preferred.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Support the People Services Team
  • Assist with front-line HR support during peak periods (think summer leaves and high-volume requests)
  • Help maintain smooth operations while team members are supporting ERP workshops, projects, or planned absences
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support that keeps HR running efficiently
  • Document & Improve HR Processes
  • Create clear, user-friendly process documentation that supports:
  • ERP implementation
  • Knowledge sharing across HR
  • Future AI and self-service solutions
  • Help organize and maintain an HR process library that primes us for an agile future
  • Explore AI & Automation in HR
  • Research and document AI use cases relevant to HR
  • Assist with pilot projects involving automation, Power Automate, or AI agents
  • Help translate “how we do things today” into “how we could do things better tomorrow”
  • Bring Fresh Ideas
  • Learn HR workflows and suggest opportunities for simplification or automation
  • Partner with HR team members to brainstorm and test process improvements
  • Be encouraged to ask “why?” and “what if?”
