About The Position

The Manager of Information Technology will oversee the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring efficient and effective technical support service. This role will act as the sole IT staff member with Shea Concrete and will help lead the transition away from an MSP to an in-house IT capacity.

Requirements

  • CompTIA A+ certification or similar industry-recognized certifications demonstrating core IT competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science. In lieu of a degree, we may accept a High School Diploma with 10 years of experience and training.
  • Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management, including Office 365 administration, Windows Server management and cloud management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the company's IT environment including network infrastructure, servers, Office365, SaaS applications, employee workstations, office phone system, cell phone, alarm/security system, camera network, and internet connections.
  • Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
  • Manage the IT hardware lifecycle from purchase to equipment decommissioning.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and metrics that ensure efficiency and efficacy.
  • Identify business processes that could benefit from technological improvements and implement IT solutions that meet business needs.
  • Oversee security of systems, networks, backups and enterprise information.
  • Provide virtual and hands-on technical support to team.
  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Coordinates multisite IT systems via industry specific Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
  • Test fixes to ensure problem has been resolved.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
