About The Position

As the IT Manager at Chiyoda USA, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure, including the effective utilization and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our IT systems, supporting the overall success of our manufacturing operations and our partnership with our customers.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in IT management
  • Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Occasional travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
  • May travel up to 10% as required by job.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring technology solutions contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect company data and information. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of IT services and solutions.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Technical Support: Oversee the provision of timely and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology enhancements, and innovation to enhance the overall effectiveness of the IT department.
