Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TECH I Requires open availability, including evenings and weekends. Status: Reports to the Director of Information Technology Pay Level: VII, non-exempt. Location: Administrative Office, Florence, MA Purpose: To ensure the highest level of service possible to River Valley Co-op’s internal and external customers. To support the Director of Information Technology (IT) in developing and maintaining IT systems to ensure smooth operations, training, and support for all stakeholders to be effective and efficient throughout the Co-op. A large part of this will be to work directly and frequently with users of the Point of Sale (POS) system and look for ways to increase efficiency and coordinate the resolution of existing issues and roadblocks. It will also involve the setup and maintenance of desktop and laptop computer systems, networking equipment, and servers as needed.
