About The Position

Job Description Support and lead the daily activities of the Machine Maintenance Department by directing the repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of injection molding machines. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable machine performance. Responsibilities Serve as a front-line leader for the Machine Maintenance Department. Direct and perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines. Investigate equipment issues and implement corrective actions to improve machine efficiency, performance, and scrap reduction. Stay informed on production priority changes and communicate updates to MM team members. Share necessary technical and departmental information with team personnel. Pursue training opportunities to continuously improve maintenance capabilities. Assist department personnel in obtaining appropriate technical training. Motivate team members to identify and implement improvements to equipment uptime and reliability. Facilitate administrative processes such as paperwork, documentation, and training coordination within the department. Take control of equipment during situations involving potential for personal injury or rapid equipment deterioration. Ensure a safe working environment and lead the department’s safety initiatives. Serve as a front-line leader for the Machine Maintenance Department. Direct and perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on injection molding machines. Qualifications Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Equipment specific knowledge on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Dependable and motivated with a good work history. Accepts responsibility for work performed. Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Good computer skills. Must be able to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions. Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
