About The Position

The Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for increasing product sales and placement at all on- and off-premise store locations within an assigned territory. The primary role of the ISM is to provide exceptional service to all customers while increasing visibility and brand penetration through the use of sales tactics, market insights, and field sales execution.

Requirements

  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong active listening abilities.
  • Demonstrates solid mathematical skills.
  • Shows strong organizational abilities and can develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts.
  • Exhibits exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Is proficient with computers and familiar with a variety of software applications.
  • Takes a proactive, hands-on approach to personal development.
  • Has prior sales experience; inside sales experience is an advantage.
  • Maintains a strong track record of sales success.
  • Possesses knowledge of the beverage market.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the direct store delivery (DSD) business model.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Red Bull products and accounts, achieving 100% adherence to defined call frequencies.
  • Resolve issues, maintain accurate call records, and follow up on all orders.
  • Develop new account relationships within assigned markets.
  • Identify current and ongoing product needs to drive increased sales.
  • Use all Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC) sales tools and provide Area Sales Managers (ASMs) with clear, timely communication regarding execution activities.
  • Develop a plan to complete all daily account calls, including tracking results and identifying target accounts for the next calls.
  • Drive in-store execution by achieving monthly KPI targets, call frequency goals, and sales volume objectives.
  • Evaluate and clearly communicate all competitor activities, including new product launches and price reductions.
  • Complete various outbound REACH projects as assigned, following provided scripts, completing 100% of assigned calls, and maintaining a positive, success-oriented attitude.
  • Build and protect the Red Bull brand.
  • Bring energy and a “can-do” attitude every day.
  • Collaborate with members of the RBDC distribution teams to develop and implement programs.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to share best practices, and serve as a key contributor and leader within the peer group.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with customer contacts at each assigned RBDC account.
