We're seeking an Intake Specialist to join our growing team at Furman | Honick Law, a top-rated trial-focused personal injury and medical malpractice firm serving Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for many prospective clients, you'll help ensure that every caller and visitor feels welcomed, informed, and supported.

Requirements

• Excellent communicator: strong phone presence and written communication skills.
• Organized multitasker with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• Team player who offers help proactively.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service or legal office experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails, routing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• Support the client intake process, including gathering initial information and documenting case details.
• Greet clients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and manage attorneys' calendars.
• Assist with general office tasks, including mail distribution, supply orders, and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
• Provide basic administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including preparing and transcribing legal documents when needed.
• Handle additional support tasks as assigned to keep the office running smoothly.
