About The Position

Our CEO started as a Hart intern. Where could an internship here lead you? We are seeking a motivated and organized Intern to support our Consulting & Advisory / Account Services team at our Toledo office. You’ll get hands-on experience and exposure to diverse functions within our agency, such as brand storytelling, digital engagement and market analytics. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment and we’ll count on you to assist in projects that span media channels from social and digital to video production and more. The ideal candidate is curious about marketing and advertising, detail-oriented, and excited to collaborate in a fast-paced agency environment.

Requirements

• Rising junior / senior undergraduate student or recent graduate in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and the courage to ask questions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs)
• A self-starter able to work collaboratively as well as independently
• Has a passion for your craft / major
• Thrives in a creative atmosphere and energy a modern agency provides
• A leader still eager to learn and grow continuously

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or coursework in marketing, advertising, or communications
• Interest in client services, marketing strategy, or brand management
• Familiarity with project management tools or marketing platforms

Responsibilities

• Be a sponge. Ask questions. Make suggestions. Have fun!
• Work with people across four offices (Toledo, Columbus, D.C. and Detroit)
• Proactive involvement with day-to-day client account support and projects as assigned by your Hart mentor(s)
• Help coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and internal communications
• Participate in client and internal meetings and capture notes and action items
• Support the development of presentations, reports, and project documentation
• Assist with campaign research, competitive audits, and industry trend monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional department including creative, media, social media and strategy
• Work with people who have different areas of expertise and love what they do
• Enjoy a creative atmosphere
