About The Position

The Admissions Operations intern will have the opportunity to work alongside business professionals and learn operational insights and leadership skills directly related to the Admissions and Entrance Operations teams. This intern will learn the skills necessary to support a large, diverse hourly team and drive execution of operational excellence within Turnstiles, Pass Sales, and Rentals. They will have the ability to problem solve and make an impact to a large and thriving operations department as we strive to become the Destination of Choice at Universal Orlando Resort.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. A transcript is required upon application.
  • Prior front of house hospitality experience
  • Experience in operational setting
  • Experience in high pressure guest facing situations and large, diverse and dynamic teams
  • Comfortable with maintaining and innovating existing processes in fulfillment, communication and daily operations
  • Positive attitude, ability to adapt, attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to communicate at a high level
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative setting
  • Must be comfortable working in high volume Guest traffic
  • Must feel comfortable working primarily nights during a Halloween event
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside various members of management on projects that innovate processes within the Admissions team
  • Support the Front Gate during The World's Premier Halloween Event (Halloween Horror Nights) by taking ownership of specific entry points such as Hotel Priority, Group Gate, and In-Park locations
  • Streamline communication processes to ensure consistency with hourly operational updates and information boards
  • Partner with a variety of leaders across the resort to reduce Guest friction points on a daily basis
  • Assist with consistency and alignment of processes between our Admissions teams within the North Campus
