About The Position

Fall 2026 Program Dates: Approximately September 2026 – December 2026 JOB SUMMARY : Intern will learn all aspects of the Merchandise operation including retail, carnival style games, outdoor carts, candy stores, and warehouse operations. Intern will learn to understand all P&L categories, budgetary expenditures, and the three-legged stool. This role will provide opportunities to build positive working relationships while working alongside and leading team members.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing.
  • Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid

Responsibilities

  • Participates in location operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Manages locations in cleanliness, merchandising, and visual standards.
  • Assists with talent management, which includes having effective communication and human resources.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures and policies, and learns leadership skills focusing on fairness and consistency.
  • Manages location P&L including labor, non-labor, and cost of goods.
  • Understands the inventory process including buying, shipping, warehouse, and relieving inventory.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
