Role Definition: Manages and owns the inventory record accuracy process for production material at Cast Metal Organization (CMO).

Requirements

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
• Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

Nice To Haves

• Degree or equivalent experience required
• MfgPro or other ERP system experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• APICS Certification
• Previous inventory analyst experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized inventory records and report on inventory levels and activity
• Own the Work-in-Process (WIP) and Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) process for CMO
• Perform daily WIP inventory counts
• Perform root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies
• Supports operations, business resources and supply chain during quarterly inventory counts
