About The Position

Kings River Packing, LP is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. This role serves as the first point of contact for employee technology support and plays an important role in ensuring the day-to-day reliability of company systems and equipment. The IT Support Technician provides basic technical support to end users, assists with device setup and user access management, and helps maintain accurate records of company technology assets. Working closely with the IT team, this role supports employees across the organization by resolving routine technical issues and escalating more complex issues when needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a help desk, technical support, or similar role preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience using ticketing systems or technical support tools preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, or email.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for common issues related to Windows systems, Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist employees with password resets, account lockouts, and basic access issues.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior IT staff.
  • Track and document service requests and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
  • Assist with creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts under the direction of senior IT staff.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding by helping set up or remove system access.
  • Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, and other technology equipment for employees.
  • Install approved software applications and assist with mobile device setup, including email configuration and multi-factor authentication.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and asset inventory.
  • Provide support for conference room and meeting technology as needed.
  • Assist with device rollouts, equipment replacements, and other IT initiatives.
