About The Position

The IT Support Specialist provides Tier 1 technical support for end users, resolving issues related to workstations, software applications, and IT services. The role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations across NESN’s user base.

Requirements

3-5 years of IT support experience
Bachelor’s or relevant technical certification
Must be comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends as business needs dictate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management abilities
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, Basic Windows troubleshooting, Jira, Zoom, Teams

Nice To Haves

Any of the following, preferred: A+/Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Admin Certifications
Apple OS and hardware experience, preferred
Familiarity with MDM solutions and remote access platforms, preferred

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, or remote assistance.
Provide basic hardware/software troubleshooting, including printing, faxing, and peripheral device support.
Maintain and update documentation in Jira/Confluence.
Assist with onboarding and training of new users, including setup and orientation.
Support MS Office Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and conferencing room technology.
Maintain asset tracking records and assist with lifecycle management.
