Junior Defense Travel System (DTS) Support Specialist

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD Description : ACT1 Federal is currently seeking a DTS Customer Support Specialist to act as the Agency Program Coordinator (APC) and effectively manage the NAVWAR GTCC program.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- At least 2 years’ Defense Travel System (DTS) help desk and GTCC experience is required.
- Active Secret or above clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to within one (1) business day and monitored until resolved.
- Process check-in and check-out requests for new, transferring and departing employees.
- Monitor and analyze the GTCC online system and IntelliLink reports for misuse, abuse and delinquencies.
- Apply working knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to travel and the GTCC program.
- Effectively navigate applicable software and systems, such as Defense Travel System (DTS), GTCC Software, IntelliLink, Microsoft applications and the Navy ERP program.
- Maintain records of support services on database tracking tools and document management systems.
- Actively engage with DTMO’s Travel Assistance Center (TAC), to identify and resolve issues from the Major Command perspective.
- Perform administration functions in DTS, including maintenance of employee and Defense Travel Administrator profiles, permission levels and access, and routing lists.
- Provide travel help desk customer service support.
- Update outstanding TAC trouble tickets and report to Government Task Lead(s).
