About The Position

Center for Change is seeking a Lead Care Technicians for our Cottonwood Heights office to assist the Program Director in day-to-day supervision of Care Technicians ensuring the facility is providing secure, safe, and supportive treatment to our patients.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Care Technician at Center for Change preferred
• Must be 21 years of age to qualify for insurance to drive company vehicles and must have no more than three moving violations over the past 3 years
• Experience in the mental health field; experience working with youth or other at-risk populations
• Some college-level education in social sciences or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Provide new Care Technicians with effective orientation and training
• Identify Care Tech training needs; mentor, plan and implement appropriate training throughout the year
• Monitor Care Technician performance; ensure they receive meaningful and timely feedback; provide assistance to facilitate performance improvement
• Ensure Care Technician shifts are staffed and efficiently scheduled
• Forecasts needs, and work effectively with the Direct Care Manager to ensure the Center is adequately staffed with quality Care Techs
