About The Position

Lead Front Receptionist Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital 150 Flanders Road Westborough, MA 01581 Full time, 40 hours – Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in an efficient and pleasant manner
• Must be able to maintain composure under extremely busy circumstances
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous receptionist experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the front reception area
• Maintain neat and organized workstations, inventory control of office supplies
• Operate telephone system, route calls, convey messages and provide information to callers as appropriate and as authorized
• Greet and direct visitors, update Excel visitor log
• Delegates other duties to off shift and weekend receptionist as appropriate
• Identify areas of improvement in the communications department and, participate in the problem solving and implementation of action plan
• Complies with all hospital safety and health regulations including emergency management procedure and annual safety re-orientation
• Treats patients, their families, visitors and other staff members with respect, courtesy and compassion
• Assist with providing coverage for receptionist staff on an as needed basis, assuring seven day per week and holiday coverage
