The Senior People Insights Analyst will be a strategic thought partner on the People Insights team supporting all areas of Human Resources and the business to provide people metrics and analytics to improve HR performance and drive organizational decisions. This position supports Unity's People data analytics capabilities, by conducting basic to predictive analysis, data mining, and adding relevant insight for both the People group and the organization more broadly. You will be synthesizing data across different functions of Human Resources, multiple systems, internal, and external sources to support data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Psychology, Data Analytics, Business, Management, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Must have two (2) years with/in the following: Translating data analysis into executive ready insights; Presenting executive insights to a varied audience across the business; Utilizing HR systems to conduct reporting of People Analytics; Applying business intelligence visualization tools: Looker, Tableau, Qlik, and Visier; Presenting data and analytics through Qualtrics or Google Slides, to improve employee experience and business success; Leveraging knowledge of spreadsheet and statistical packages using Excel, Python, SPSS, R, SQL, or LookML to model and analyze people data; Conducting statistical analysis, predictive, and behavioral modeling; Utilizing Python or R for advanced statistical analysis such as multiple regression and other multivariate analysis; and Using SQL to build complex dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Interface autonomously and regularly with executives, provide in depth analysis relating to organizational health and support people decision-making.
  • Provide people metrics and analytics to improve HR performance and drive organizational decisions.
  • Assist with Unity's People data analytics capabilities. Conduct predictive analysis, data mining, and provide relevant insight to support talent acquisition, turnover and retention, workforce effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Synthesize data across various functions of Human Resources to support data-informed decision-making. Deliver ad hoc analyses on People topics to drive strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Carry out trend analysis to measure ongoing results. Assess key measures against external industry, region, and peers.
