About The Position

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a Production Line Lead. The Line Leader’s purpose is to oversee the production assembly lines. This leader will assist their team to become more efficient in learning acceptable and fast techniques of creating a great filter, how to use Filterbuy machines safely, and how to clean filter making machines safely. This role will report to the Production Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Friday through Sunday, 6:15am to 5:00pm, OT as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership role
  • 2 years manufacturing assembly experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Manual dexterity and great attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Must have the ability to promote positivity
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Work independently with little guidance
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
  • Must have excellent attendance by scheduling days off in advance and arriving at work on time
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
  • Ability to understand basic math, counting, and measuring skills.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for smooth operation of their assigned production lines.
  • Encourage all production workers to be in position on time and ready for duty.
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Must set a good example to their peers.
  • Inspect filters using appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards and examining functionality to ensure the highest quality.
  • Instruct employees how to verify specifications are met as assembly is being done.
  • Teaches how to resolve assembly problems by making needed adjustments or notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.
  • Show by example to conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the Production Supervisor.
  • Assembles components of filters when needed (e.g. assembler in restroom, covering auto line during regular breaks and lunch, etc.).
  • On the job instruction to show how to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Oversee media and frames to ensure it is always well stocked.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Motivate team members to meet production deadlines and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
