We are looking for an Outage Foreman to join the Kaiser Aluminum Warrick team outside of Evansville Indiana! What’s in it for you! Employee resource groups. What you will work on: Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety Results. Ensure consistent implementation and execution of policies and systems in order to guarantee customer (internal and external) expectations, maintain a budget, and always with safety at the forefront of every activity. Planning all Furnace Complex, Casting Outages, and providing downtime reports, and supplying prints with job packages. Ordering and managing materials for outages. Cross functional communication with Operations and Engineering Department for outage needs. Coordinating Outage Needs with Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Planners. Contracting Out Oversite Manager. Contractor Onsite Service Manager. Supervise Union Craft within the maintenance department when needed. What you will bring to the position: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or other 4-year degree or equivalent years of experience. A minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience with responsibility for labor issues within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a union environment. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Sound understanding/experience of project management working to cost and schedule metrics. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. Preferred experience in working knowledge of metal rolling processes, environmental regulations, metal planning, and standards-based operating is desired. Requirements
