The Manager of Business Analysts at VillageCare will play a pivotal role in shaping the Strategy & Analytics team by establishing a robust framework for analytics and reporting across the organization. This innovative position goes beyond simple requirement gathering; it demands a thought leader who collaborates strategically with the technical team to develop integrated analytics solutions. As this is a new role, you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead a team of Business Analysts, effectively bridging business needs with technical solutions. Responsibilities include improving business analysis processes, assessing the analytics landscape, defining key performance indicators, and designing reports that enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will facilitate collaboration with business partners to ensure requirements are clearly articulated and documented, while establishing deadlines for the requirement gathering process. Your leadership will be key in nurturing a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to achieving VillageCareMax's strategic goals.
Requirements
- robust background in healthcare analytics and team management
- minimum of 7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within a healthcare setting on the payor side
- at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Candidates should hold certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), which are highly desired
- Proficiency in writing simple SQL statements for data review is necessary
- familiarity with visualization software like Tableau
- effective facilitation of meetings and collaborative sessions with diverse stakeholders is critical for gathering requirements and driving solutions
- solid understanding of Medicare operations, compliance, and the factors influencing health plan success
- bachelor's degree is required for this position
- 7+ years in Business Analyst experience in health care setting ideally on the payor side
- 2+ years of managing a team in similar role
- Must have an understanding of Medicare operations, compliance, and drivers of health plan success
- This position requires a minimum formal education of bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with healthcare consulting firms is advantageous
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- PMP certification or other applicable certifications are highly desired
