About The Position

In this role you will manage a team of implementation managers and large market consultants across the voluntary benefits division, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best client experience possible. Supervise implementation team to successfully implement all assigned new customers within established performance goals keeping “big picture” present-day and future state department and organizational needs in mind. Manage workflow, track activity, and allocate workloads while identifying risks and areas for potential delays. Assess skill level of staff and counsel on appropriate development to assure skills will evolve and meet changing customer requirements. Develop a high-performing, motivated, and highly skilled team. Foster a strong work environment with rewards based on The Standard’s values and behaviors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in employee benefits with a preference for those who have worked in voluntary benefits; must have solid understanding of voluntary benefits.
  • Proven success in project management and awareness of LEAN methodology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with sales and brokers is preferred.
