Summary Ensures marketing and communications collateral and workflows are efficient and effective from strategy to production, including from idea conception and production through approval. Contributes to process improvement related to the department's project databases, file sharing and archiving, and documenting overall standard work to support the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 1 year Project coordinator in a creative agency or in-house marketing department.
  • 2 years Project management systems.
  • Skilled in project coordination, and able to be a generalist, taking on ad hoc projects and light writing, design, editing, event coordination.
  • Knowledge of the key stages of project development and production, including establishing deadlines, scheduling and documentation.
  • Excellent writer and communicator who can simplify concepts and process.
  • Flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
  • Understands brand experience and its role in colleague communications and consumer marketing.
  • Thinks strategically and educates and influences others about decisions.
  • Handles multiple priorities and produces excellent work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to recommend and implement innovative tools to achieve better standard work.
  • Ability to coordinate process improvement, and excellent at documenting best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with department workflow from strategy to production.
  • Serves as a liaison to clients for special projects, gathers requirements and needs, and maintains good communication.
  • Coordinates process improvement and standard work of the marketing and public affairs department.
  • Coordinates reporting on project status and productivity to department colleagues and leadership team.
  • Creates reports on project allocation, budget, and deadlines.
  • Keeps team on task and projects on deadline, handling logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress.
  • Serves as the lead for ad hoc and special projects and event coordination.
  • Crafts and implements plans and briefs, and contributes special skills such as writing, editing, and designing
  • Develops standard work for internal/external campaign workflow and overall departmental best practices.
