Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated, result-driven team player to fill a Master Data position within our ERP system. The position will provide support by obtaining and verifying the accuracy of customer master records in a timely manner, including but not limited to, maintenance of customer records, working closely with other areas of the business, and validating all data pertaining to customer records. The position will additionally work closely with field ops teams and customers to ensure data received contains all information necessary to accomplish objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of D365 systems and Sales Force
  • Candidate should understand the sales, distribution, and order management module in a service environment.
  • Highly organized and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to problem-solve, analyze, troubleshoot, and make decisions
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Attention to detail with a clear understanding of master data functionality and sense of urgency for follow through of resolution
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Entry of data with attention to quality & accuracy
  • Review of quotes submitted by sales for accuracy and completeness
  • Correct and update master data as needed demonstrating a strong understanding of master data rules, standards, and governance.
  • Maintain and continually scrub for consistency and standardization of nomenclature
  • Analyze data for mass maintenance, working with the department manager and AR to identify errors and implement sustainable, long-term solutions
  • Utilize Excel templates to assist with mass maintenance requests, utilizing the most appropriate tool(s)
  • Interact with branches and customers to ensure validity of master data updates
  • Communicate data quality and completeness to the business
  • Assist with pricing, material, and other functional data uploads as needed
