About The Position

Without the strength of our Engineering / Program Mgt. team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Master Scheduler Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Master Scheduler. As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Master Scheduler, you will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assigned department or facility.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Extremely proficient with production planning / ERP systems, such as Epicor.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
At least five years of related experience required.
ABILITY TO READ, SPEAK AND WRITE IN ENGLISH.
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 15 POUNDS AT TIMES.
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
Collaborate with these departments to establish SIOP Demand & Capacity plans, schedules and frozen operations plans that allocate available resources to best serve our customer needs.
Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.
Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
Performs other related duties, as required.
