Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Material Controller position for our N. Reading MA facility. This role supports Defense and Aerospace production by managing material flow and ensuring accuracy of floor inventory.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a material controller is required.
- Knowledge of Oracle 11i.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Very strong communication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Managing the material on the production floor.
- Responsible for cycle counts, work order maintenance, and communication with the stock room to verify material availability.
- Work closely with buyers to determine when material is due.
- Support production personnel with material requests from stock.
- Handle all aspects of product shipments including paperwork, packaging, and delivering material to Shipping.
- Work with suppliers for defective material returns (RMAs).
