About The Position

Role and Activity Procurement Management: Identify MRO supply needs and source appropriate vendors. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers. Ensure the timely delivery of MRO materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability. 2. Inventory Management: Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of MRO supplies and equipment. Develop inventory control strategies to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Implement inventory tracking systems and software to monitor stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Demand Planning: Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to forecast MRO supply requirements. Analyze historical usage data and upcoming maintenance schedules to anticipate needs. Ensure that critical MRO items are always in stock to minimize downtime. Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the MRO supply chain. Monitor and report on MRO procurement costs, seeking ways to reduce expenses. Optimize order quantities and inventory levels to minimize carrying costs. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of MRO purchases, receipts, and expenditures. Generate reports on MRO inventory levels, usage, and costs. Provide regular updates to management on MRO supply chain performance. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that MRO supplies meet safety and compliance standards. Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.
