Job Summary This position is responsible for managing, planning and implementing block of existing national accounts to meet specified targets and service accounts to meet corporate and divisional sales/renewal objectives. This position works closely with the assigned strategic account executive as the primary project manager to develop tactical plans and execute the account strategy developed by the assigned strategic account executive. This position works on larger complex national group accounts and acts as point of contact for client issues, coordinates client meetings, and responsible for training.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 years experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field OR 6 years experience in Account Management, Insurance/Sales or Health Care field.
  • State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license or obtain General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license within required time frame per state regulations.
  • Experience with presenting in front of a small audience.
  • Experience leading a team on a task or project.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Project management skills including workflow and resource allocation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration or Finance.
  • Knowledge of HCSC products, services, and processes, including rating and funding.
  • Knowledge of HCSC systems knowledge (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, Accums, CRM, contact management, MS Office suite, etc.).
  • Knowledge of competitor and industry trends, including legislative and regulatory.
