Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of outside sales experience directly calling on retail buyers required.
  • Consumer product sales experience.
  • Broker distribution management.
  • Dynamic communication skills required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with both external and internal customers.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and power point applications.
  • Excellent prioritizing and decision-making skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Meets with customers, negotiates, communicates, and implements marketing plans and pricing structures for select national & regional accounts.
  • Informs team of opportunities, issues, and barriers in a timely fashion, as well as report progress on current objectives
  • Utilizes fact-based tools to improve our ability to provide customers with more value than our competitors.
  • Identifies opportunities, set objectives for placing equipment, space allocation, positioning, promotional activities that lead to desired business results.
  • Market visits to review activity execution and opportunities.
  • Analyzes period results, develops recommendations, and communicates strategy changes.
  • Develops and updates weekly period forecast by customer.
  • Posts audit programs and initiatives; Develop post-audit recommendations for improvement.
  • Manages contractual costs and the associated accruals.
  • Attend & lead trade shows participations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
