About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Tech 1 to join the team. This role will be a Full Time. Requirements

  • Certification - Basic Life Support
  • Eligible for and successful completion of the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation EEG board examination with the achievement as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T), must be obtained within two years of hire
  • Licensure - None required
  • Experience - None required
  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Documents, eliminates or takes proper measures to monitor the artifact.
  • Schedules appointments, greets patients/families and provides testing instructions.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients of all ages in specific services or units.
  • Cleans, adjusts and makes minor repairs to testing equipment or reports issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
