Requirements

  • 2+ years of front desk or night audit experience, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong math, analytical, and computer skills; experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or OnQ preferred
  • Ability to lead the overnight shift independently while maintaining high operational standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities overnight
  • Dependability, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support overnight front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service at all times
  • Lead the night audit process, including running audit reports, reconciling accounts, and verifying daily transactions
  • Review and balance room, tax, and revenue postings to ensure financial accuracy
  • Assist with late-night check-ins, early departures, and guest inquiries or concerns
  • Serve as the overnight point of contact for staff and guests, resolving issues calmly and efficiently
  • Monitor hotel security, safety procedures, and overall property conditions during the overnight shift
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports for management and accounting
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
  • Provide guidance and support to overnight front desk staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards and procedures
  • Communicate important operational updates and guest concerns to the morning management team
