About The Position

ATI is seeking to hire a Night Shift Supervisor to support our operations in Vandergrift, PA.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading a diverse, represented hourly workforce in day-to-day problem solving and troubleshooting efforts. This includes overseeing safety, quality, and operational performance, and to escalate issues to department leads as needed.

This is an off-shift supervisor roles working a 12-hour 4-on/4-off schedule on the off shifts (likely 7p-7a), after an initial day-shift training period.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous formal or informal experience in leading/training/managing people or processes
• Ability to learn and understand the intricacies of the rolling, annealing, and slitting processes and be able to capture and automate the learnings
• Demonstrate the ability to manage priorities & work schedule to consistently meet deadlines
• Ability to effectively lead a diverse and represented hourly workforce
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organization skills

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in technical or engineering required
• 2+ years mechanical maintenance experience
• Capable of identifying problems and offering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment through observation and management
• Address any equipment breakdowns or failures with the correct maintenance or engineering functions to support operations
• Initiate investigations into disciplinary or safety related issues
• Coordinate with daylight shift supervisors and Sr. Leaders to ensure night shift coverage for operation
• While covering night shift, responsibility for all operations and maintenance hourly personnel on site
