About The Position
The Nuclear Security Cadet is an entry level position and is assigned while in training. The Cadet is expected to complete training assignments and qualifications within assigned time frames.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Must be 21 years of age and in good physical condition.
- Must pass background, psychological and physical examinations.
- Must be able to meet all requirements of an Armed Responder per 10CFR73, Appendix B.
- Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member.
- Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage.
- This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.
- These are a condition of employment at PVNGS.
Responsibilities
- Successfully completes all assigned training assignments and qualifications per the training plan.
