About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Emergency Services to lead operations within a high-acuity Emergency Department. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical and operational performance, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care delivery in a fast-paced ER environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency, patient outcomes, and departmental performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership/management experience
  • Strong background in Emergency Department (ED/ER) settings
  • Experience in staff supervision, budgeting, and operations management
  • Active RN License (Texas or Compact)
  • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
  • ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire)
  • TNCC (within 18 months)
  • ENPC or CEN (within 18 months)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in emergency care operations and patient flow
  • Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of quality improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Emergency Department operations
  • Lead and manage nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve care quality and operational efficiency
  • Maintain strong communication with staff, patients, and leadership
  • Oversee patient care delivery in alignment with clinical standards and hospital policies
  • Manage physician relationships and resolve operational and patient care issues
  • Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor departmental performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
