About The Position
The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras's Women, Infants & Children Program is looking to hire a bilingual Spanish speaking front desk Nutrition Aide who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic about helping others. Our Nutrition Assistant will be the first point of contact greeting participants either by phone or in person at various Women, Infants & Children, WIC sites. Our Aide will travel three days a week with other staff to off sites, in Calaveras and Amador counties. Full Time Position: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:00 pm Pay Range: $16.90 - $23.00 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Paid Time Off. 12 paid holidays, sick leave, vacation time, and an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP). Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Minimum one-year office experience handling multi-line phone system
- Basic knowledge of computer including word processing, spreadsheets, email and Internet use
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
- Criminal record clearance
- Willingness to work irregular hours and attend night meetings and travel as required by the organization
- Required travels between agency locations in Calaveras and Amador Counties and out-of-area, year-round, under all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Successfully complete 40 hours of breastfeeding training within three months of hire
