OT for Home Health (PRN) Wooster Area
About The Position
Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis to provide home health services in the Wooster area. The OT will be responsible for working with patients in their homes to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, improve daily living skills, and enhance quality of life. Qualifications: - Valid state OT licensure - Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program - Previous experience in home health or a related setting preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Responsibilities: - Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine patient needs and progress - Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address specific goals and objectives - Provide individualized therapy sessions that focus on improving functional abilities - Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and exercises - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes Requirements: - Availability to work on a PRN basis - Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the Wooster area - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed - Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients of all backgrounds Benefits: - Competitive compensation - Flexible scheduling - Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients in need - Supportive team environment with ongoing professional development opportunities #INDWS
Requirements
