About The Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in the Wooster area to provide home health services. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current state PTA license
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a home health setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility
• Monitor and report on patient progress
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
