About The Position

As an Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for opening the office, leading day-to-day operations, and ensuring returns are captured, quality-checked, and routed to our virtual network as needed. You will be the onsite face of the brand and a key link to regional leadership during peak season and beyond.

Requirements

  • Supervisory or office leadership experience (1-2+ years) in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to tax preparation preferred
  • PTIN eligibility is a plus
  • Comfortable guiding preparers on process and quality and liaising with regional leaders
  • Ability to flex to nights/weekends and extended hours during peak season

Responsibilities

  • Run daily office operations including opening/closing, staffing, scheduling, client flow, and store readiness.
  • Ensure a clean, welcoming, and professional environment that drives client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Lead and coach the team by supervising Tax Preparers and office staff, coordinating onboarding and training with Regional Ops leadership, and upholding company procedures.
  • Act as the primary in-office escalation point for client service and issue resolution, maintaining exceptional service standards and quick resolution of concerns.
  • Reinforce preparation accuracy, documentation standards, and adherence to federal/state/local rules and company policies.
  • Execute simple community and field marketing tactics to drive traffic during peak and off-peak windows.
  • Complete daily operational reports and coordinate routing of returns to virtual preparers when appropriate.
