About The Position

This direct-hire, full-time role supports outbound mail production and local material deliveries for a major client. The position involves preparing printed mail pieces, operating production equipment, and transporting materials between nearby facilities using a company cargo van. Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift Typical hours fall between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM , depending on operational needs. Work Location: Earth City, MO (St. Louis area)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Production mail printing or mailroom experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable operating cargo vans for short local deliveries
  • Ability to lift and transport moderate-weight boxes and materials (up to ~50 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Basic computer skills for production systems and tracking deliveries
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must have a valid drivers license and comfortable dirving a Transit 250 sized cargo van
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Windows environment PC skills
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with production print and mail inserting equipment
  • Familiarity with postal preparation and carrier shipping processes
  • Previous experience in a mailroom, print shop, or production environment
  • College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management

Responsibilities

  • Operate production mail printing and inserting equipment to prepare outbound mail pieces
  • Print, assemble, and prepare documents for mailing according to established procedures
  • Perform finishing tasks such as folding, inserting, sealing, labeling, and sorting
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of printed materials and mail packages
  • Prepare mail for pickup by carriers including USPS, UPS, and FedEx
  • Maintain organized production areas and follow safety procedures
  • Conduct a daily delivery route using a cargo van to transport materials between nearby client locations
  • Load, secure, and unload boxes of documents and IT materials
  • Ensure proper documentation and chain-of-custody for transported items
  • Communicate delivery status and resolve any routing issues as needed
  • Follow safe driving and vehicle operation practices
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Operating high volume mail opening and scanning equipment, helping print and assemble large outbound mailings daily.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high-volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
