About The Position

We’re seeking a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join our consultative inpatient team in Gilbert, AZ . You'll work closely with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, consult-based palliative care in a hospital setting. Requirements

• MD or DO with Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
• Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient palliative consultations for patients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses
• Manage complex symptoms including pain, breathlessness, nausea, anxiety, and agitation
• Facilitate family meetings and goals-of-care discussions with clarity and compassion
• Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and other members of the care team to guide treatment decisions
• Provide emotional and decision-making support to patients and their loved ones
• Educate healthcare teams on symptom control and palliative care principles
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the medical record
• Help foster a care environment grounded in dignity, empathy, and respect
