About The Position

Our office is a hub for collaboration, learning, and connection, and our Part-Time Office Manager plays an important role in making that possible. They help ensure the office is prepared, functional, and welcoming at the start of each workday. Responsibilities center on a consistent daily setup routine, supported by light ongoing operations, vendor coordination, and workplace care. The position is designed as a 3-hour-per-day role, with flexibility to extend to an additional 1 or 2 hours on select days to support events, vendor needs, or office improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare conference rooms for daily use, including cleanliness, supply availability, and general functionality
  • Maintain kitchen and coffee stations, including cleaning equipment and restocking milk, snacks, and beverages
  • Collect, clean, refill, and redistribute water bottles and mugs
  • Run and unload the dishwasher and manage dishes
  • Perform a morning walkthrough to identify and address issues ahead of meetings
  • Keep an eye on office conditions and respond to issues that arise during working hours
  • Track inventory of office, kitchen, coffee, and beverage supplies and flag items that may need reordering
  • Check restrooms for supplies and general readiness
  • Monitor the front door system, receive packages, and check mail
  • Respond to office-related emails and requests
  • Serve as a point of contact for property management and key vendors
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up as needed
  • Support specialty services such as coffee recycling and supply pickups
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for meetings or events during scheduled hours
  • Provide support for occasional afternoon or evening events, which may involve extended hours
  • Caretake live plants
  • Contribute ideas and execution for small office improvements that enhance functionality and appearance
