As a Accounting Part-Time Student for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will:
Requirements
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university
- Graduation date of May 2027 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
- Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer months
- Must be able to commute to the work location in Ankeny, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communicator who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Responsibilities
- Apply academic principles while performing accounting tasks at John Deere Des Moines Works
- Support overhead budget preparation by updating budget reports and other cost tracking files
- Prepare miscellaneous analyses, create journal vouchers, and participate in fixed asset audits
- Serve as an integral member of the accounting team
- Schedule budget meetings
