About The Position

In partnership tax at PwC, you will oversee tax-related issues that affect businesses in various areas, including local, foreign income and transaction tax compliance. You will provide tax consulting services on strategic and operational matters that impact businesses. Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. The Opportunity As part of the PARS - Tax Team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Director, you are responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. This role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the future leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 6 years of experience
  • CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation preferred
  • Proficiency in Publicly Traded Partnership practices
  • Advanced knowledge in tax calculations and compliance
  • Proficiency in tax code sections 704(b), 704(c), 751, 752, 754, 734, 743(b)
  • Experience with Forms 1065 and K-1
  • Skilled in specialized tax consulting for partnership structures
  • Client relationship and networking skills
  • Leadership in generating new business and proposal writing
  • Proficiency in automation and digitization in tax services
