About The Position

This is a fully remote and full-time opportunity open to candidates located across the US. The Role The North America Payroll Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. This role partners closely with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, and external vendors to support payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll knowledge, analytical capability, and a customer‑focused mindset within a complex, multi‑jurisdiction environment. Payroll Processing & Compliance Support end‑to‑end payroll activities for North America, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations. Review and validate payroll inputs and outputs, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits. Assist with payroll audits, controls, and compliance reviews, including SOX and internal governance requirements. Monitor and help resolve payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and off‑cycle payments. Analysis, Reporting & Reconciliation Prepare and analyze payroll reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses. Serve as a representative of Payroll in communicating with various partners from a reporting perspective. Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities using payroll data. Stakeholder & Vendor Partnership Serve as a key point of contact for payroll‑related inquiries escalated from ServiceCentral or internal partners. Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Tax, and Finance teams to resolve complex payroll issues. Liaise with payroll vendors (e.g., ADP) to support system updates, issue resolution, and enhancements. Process Improvement & Projects Contribute to payroll process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives. Support payroll system changes, testing, and implementations, including enhancements and regulatory updates. Document payroll processes and controls to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of payroll regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain payroll data.
  • Experience with payroll and payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now and/or Vantage preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Exposure to payroll audits, SOX controls, or compliance reviews.
