Overture Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our business office team. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting benefit administration and maintaining payroll records. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of payroll or accounting-related experience
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with payroll systems, accounting software, and office equipment
  • Professional communication skills when working with staff and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing employee hours and assisting with payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
  • Maintaining payroll records, PTO tracking, and benefit allowance documentation
  • Assisting with employee benefits administration and maintaining enrollment records
  • Supporting payroll-related reporting, including deductions, taxes, and insurance premiums
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and responding to employee payroll inquiries
  • Assisting with financial reporting and documentation for audits
  • Supporting the Controller with general business office functions
  • Providing backup administrative support such as invoicing, deposits, or check processing when needed
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of employee payroll and benefit information
