About The Position

The Compensation & Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the accurate administration of payroll, compensation, and benefits programs, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and a positive employee experience. This role reports directly to the HR Manager, and partners closely with Finance to support scalable, compliant, and market-aligned total rewards programs.

Requirements

  • Experience processing payroll and administering benefits for 100+ employees
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably iSolved
  • Strong understanding of employment and payroll-related laws and regulations in Massachusetts; experience with other state laws or remote workforce is a plus
  • Experience calculating and administering bonus and commission plans
  • High attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the weekly payroll processing for 100+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs within the HRIS (iSolved), maintaining accurate employee data and records
  • Calculate and process bonus and commission payments in accordance with approved plan documents, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely payout
  • Work closely with HR staff to review pay-rate changes and cross-check payroll software accordingly, collaborating with the HR team to address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain compensation data and support benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
  • Manage leave administration, including tracking, coordination, and compliance with federal and state leave requirements
  • Review and approve employee leave accruals (vacation and sick time) in iSolved
  • Administer day-to-day benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, HSA, and 401(k) plans
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, compensation, and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to payroll, compensation, and benefits
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to payroll and benefits administration
  • Ensure timely completion of annual benefits reporting (ACA, 1095, 5500).
